This CD includes the latest available version of OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X (10.4.x "Tiger") (2.3.0).

The CD also includes the latest version of NeoOffice® which is also based on OpenOffice.org 2.2.1 but uses Java instead of X11. It "feels" more like a Mac application than the official builds do as it uses the same type of menus as other Mac programs.

Both OpenOffice.org and NeoOffice® can be safely installed on the same computer.

A new release of OpenOffice.org, v3.1.1 is imminent.

When a new version of a major program included on the CD is released, we try to get a new disc, with the latest versions of all the programs, out as soon as possible.

We hope to make the 8daysaweek CD for Mac OS® (Intel) available by Thursday 10th September 2009. This will include OpenOffice.org 3.1.1.

This CD includes the latest available version of OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X (3.2.1).

OpenOffice.org 3.2.1 is a so-called micro release that comes with bugfixes and improvements, with no new features being introduced. This release also fixes security issues, so we recommend everyone to upgrade to the new version as soon as possible.

This version is also the first one to be released with the project's new main sponsor, Oracle, and comes with a refreshed logo and splash screen.

The CD also includes the latest version of NeoOffice® which is based on OpenOffice.org 3.1.1.

NeoOffice is a full-featured set of office applications (including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs) for Mac OS X. We have created an office suite that is adapted to the unique needs of Mac users by taking the features in Oracle's OpenOffice.org 3.1.1 office suite and adding improvements such as:

* Extremely stable Mac OS X code that has been in daily use by hundreds of thousands of NeoOffice users since 2003
