When 8daysaweek started to promote OpenOffice.org in autumn 2003 the estimated circulation figures were approx 16 million.  As the popularity of OpenOffice.org has risen since, so have the number regular users of this excellent open source Office Productivity Suite.

Here at 8daysaweek.co.uk we are "enthusiastic users" of OpenOffice.org and try to promote its use as widely as possible.  People often ask "How can I contribute to this project if I don't have any programming skills?"  One way is to recommend OpenOffice.org to as many people as possible.  A larger user base encourages developer recruitment, and so faster development, bug fixing and incorporation of new features.

To help you to recommend and promote OpenOffice.org we have produced some promotional materials, and collected ideas and links on this page.  If you have any suggestions for things you think could be included here, please let us know.
